Opera Marionettes

Opera Marionettes are scheduling now for spring 2023.

Opera Guild “pulls the strings” on large animated marionettes which are dressed as characters from famous operas. Coming to life are Carmen, Musetta, the conductor and the clown from I Pagliacci. Marionettes are seen around the Dayton area at a number of venues including Urban Nights, the Guild’s Membership Luncheon, at Schuster Center during special events and more. Their primary role is to visit area schools to introduce youngsters to opera.

A troupe of dedicated volunteers runs these award-winning marionette shows with opera themes for the education and enjoyment of preschool, kindergarten, first and second grade students and teachers throughout the Miami Valley.
